Theresa McKnight age 66, of Peoria, IL passed away peacefully, at 11:05 p.m. on Friday October 17, 2025 at the Richard Owen Hospice home. She was born October 1, 1959 in Peoria, IL the daughter of Gerald A and Mary P McKnight.
She was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother and friend.
Survivors include one brother, Randy McKnight of Peoria, IL; one granddaughter Keryssa McKnight, one grandson Skylar McKnight and one great granddaughter Alyrica. She had a special friend who she called her daughter Christina Snowden of Peoria, IL and her two daughters Aubree and Kylee that she called her granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary McKnight; by her two sons: Christopher McKnight and Aaron McKnight.
She went to Peoria High School and graduated in 1977. Later she attended Midstate College and graduated in 1997. She was currently retired when she passed. She worked in many different nursing homes throughout the years. She has also worked in some restaurants. She loved to plan parties for her friends and family.
Cremations rites will be accorded.
