I have known Tom and family for over 10 years, through our boys playing soccer together. Rohan and Andrew have played club soccer, 3v3, futsal and high school soccer. I have enjoyed all the time spent on the sidelines and the conversations over the years. Tom and Theresa came to cheer the high school boys in most home games even after Andrew graduated from High school. 
I will miss his very kind and generous soul and all interactions we had over the years.

I worked with Tom for almost 10 years at Caterpillar. He was kind, hard-working, and always willing to help. We worked on many projects together, big and small, and am grateful for everything he did. He will truly be missed.

I'm shocked to hear of Tom's passing. I am remembering all of the good times I had in his company working together at Caterpillar.  He always had a smile when we saw each other, even when we were working on issues.  I feel blessed to have known him.

It was a privilege for me to know Tom and to have several cross-paths with him at work. The way he talked and smiled, always brought calmness and clearness to the discussions. He will be deeply missed.

We were shocked and saddened to hear about Tom's passing. He was not only a good colleague but also a dear friend to me and my family. When I was posted to Peoria for work under Caterpillar with my family, Tom and his family helped us a lot in supporting us to adjust to life in Peoria.  Tom and his family members (Theresa, Matthew & Andrew) are good friends to me and my family.
To Tom’s family, we are extremely sorry for your loss.  Tom was truly an excellent father, friend and spouse.  Our prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am deeply saddened by Tom’s passing. Over the years, I had many opportunities to see and speak with him—both in the office and at our boys’ tennis matches. Tom had such a gentle and joyful spirit, and he was truly devoted to his family and friends.

Last winter, my son Timothy traveled through Hong Kong on his own. Tom not only shared thoughtful travel advice before Timothy's trip, but also welcomed him warmly and hosted him several times with his family while Timothy was there. Tom’s kindness and friendship are deeply appreciated and will always be remembered.

I’m deeply heartbroken to hear about your passing. I still can’t believe you are no longer with us. For the past 8 years, I had the privilege of working closely with you, and you meant so much more to me than just a team lead. You were a mentor, a constant support, and someone I spoke to almost every day.

You taught me so much—both professionally and personally. Whatever I am today in my career, I owe a big part of it to your guidance, encouragement, and belief in me. You were always calm, kind, and incredibly supportive—the coolest person I’ve ever met—and a true pillar in my journey at work.

Our deepest condolences! Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss.  Our shared history goes way back when Bo went to ISU with Thomas, worked at the same computer lab, and started Cat at around the same time. Theresa and I share the same name and we are both accountants. And our boys played tennis together at Dunlap High School and have continued to play tennis and pickle ball as well. Thomas was truly a devoted husband and father who loved his family deeply. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I'm sorry for your loss.  I had the opportunity to work with Thomas on a few occasions and he was always helpful.

Tom and I started together at Caterpillar over 25 years ago, and our careers and paths crossed many times. He had such an impact on me, and many others, at work, and set a great example in his kindness, patience, generosity with his time and his knowledge, dedication, and positive attitude. It was a great pleasure to have known and worked with Tom over these last many years, and I will really miss him.

Tom was a great mentor to us. I worked from offshore India office and he made sure I always had the necessary support I needed, even on weekends.
I have known him for last 5 years and have learnt a lot from him. We are grateful for every meaningful interactions we had with him as a team. 
This feels like a personal loss. I wish him peace and extend my heartfelt condolences to the family during this difficult time.
