Timothy "Tim" Wayne Harris Sr.

He was born on April 19, 1970 in Peoria, Illinois to Anthony and Rita (Head) Harris.

On April 7, 1995, he married the love of his life Barbara Jo Murphy and raised three children, Timothy the 2nd, Brittany, and Austin. Tim had a passion for business and was a successful entrepreneur. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with his family. Tim's hobbies included cooking on the grill and cheering for the Rams football team. He was known for his big heart and infectious smile. Tim would want everyone to know that he did it "his way."

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Anthony; sister-in-law, Danielle; and nephew, Anthony the 3rd. Surviving are his mother, Rita; three children, Timothy the 2nd (Jenna), Brittany (Garrett) and Austin (Jennifer); seven grandchildren, Kellen, Kynlee, Jace, Raegan, Milee, Brody, and Jayden; one brother, Anthony the 2nd; two sisters, Angela and Christine; and brother-in-law, Daniel.

Funeral services for Tim will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. A Celebration of life to follow at the Peoria Heights VFW, 1505 E. Lake St., Peoria Heights, IL 61616.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
