PEORIA -- Vickie J. Pittman, age 71, of Peoria, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Peoria on March 20, 1944 to Dennis and Alene (Ray) Walker. She married Terry Pittman on April 21, 1962 in Peoria. He survives, along with three daughters Debbie (Dave) Eminian, Karen Pittman (Randy Gough) and Kathy (Dennis) Boyer; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Vickie was a graduate of Limestone High School (1962). She was a homemaker who was a loving mother to her children and a loving wife to Terry. She lived for her husband and family members and was devoted to her faith. She was a member of Averyville Baptist Church in Spring Bay. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, July 27, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 28 at 10 a.m. Pastor David Coyle will officiate. Burial will be at Swan Lake Cemetery following the services. In lieu of flowers, family asks memorials be made to Averyville Baptist Church.
