William "Bill" F. Colvin

He was born August 28, 1947 in Peoria to Frank B. and Elizabeth J. (Gariglietti) Colvin. He married Dixie Best on July 26, 1969 in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are his daughters Michelle Colvin of Peoria, Lori (Paul Hunt) Colvin and Brigette (Andy Webb) both of East Peoria; one sister Sharon (Alex) Fries of Bartonville; one brother Ben (Nancy) Colvin of Peoria; two grandchildren Mikayla Colvin and Cody Hunt; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill was a Cement Finisher for over 40 years with Local 18 Cement Masons. He was an avid fisherman and a long time member of Hanna City Sportsman’s Club. Bill enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a faithful Toonerville Trolley guy.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel. Entombment will be in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Parkview Cemetery.
