Zella F. Hudson

She was born October 4, 1930 in Capps, AR to Clive and Erbie (Robinson) Wilson. She married James C. Hudson on January 1, 1947 in Arkansas. He preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her son, James A. Hudson, grandson, Sherman Worrick, and one sister, Imogene Carter.

Surviving is her son Michael (Ronda) Hudson of Washington, four grandchildren, James (Angie) Hudson and Amy Hudson both of Washington, Anna Hudson of East Peoria and Matthew Hudson of Washington. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Leah (Tyler) Johnson of Peoria and Phoenix Hudson of Washington; one brother, Cleo Wilson of Independence, AR; one sister, Anna Mae Reynolds of Harrison, AR; and several nieces and nephews.

Zella worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Tingleff Pharmacy for many years before retiring. She was a member of White Rose Fellowship Church and a member of the Bachelor & Bachelorettes Senior Dancing Group since 1986. Zella was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother, who was devout in her faith and loved to watch Cardinal Baseball.

A funeral service will be at 2:30 pm on Friday, December 8, 2023 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Burial will follow at Parkview cemetery in Peoria.
