Norma Agnes Burr

Norma Agnes Burr, 88, of Maumee, Ohio, died Tuesday March 3, 2015 at Heartland Hospice in Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Lester Lindeman and Agnes (Buescher) Snyder on December 4, 1926. She graduated from Purdue University in 1945. Norma worked as an Administrative Assistant for Prestolite for over 50 years before retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maumee, Ohio. Norma was a big sports fan. She loved the Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and any college football. She also enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and traveling.

Norma is survived by, granddaughter, Samantha Garvin; siblings, Jim (Pat) Lindeman, Janet (Frank) Bowman; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by, daughter, Kathy Garvin; parents; brother, Karl Lindeman; and special friend, Ray Walsh.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 2 - 4 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133), where a memorial service will be held at 4 P.M. Memorial contributions in Norma’s name can be made to Samantha’s Ohio Tuition Trust Authority College Advantage Fund or Heartland Hospice.
