Pauline H. (Sheldrick) Kopp, age 85, of Kingston Residence of Perrysburg left this life on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 25, 1925, in Perrysburg, Oh to Chester C. & Helen (Schneider) Sheldrick.
Pauline was a graduate of Perrysburg High School & Davis Business College. She was clerk-treasurer of the Perrysburg Board of Education & Secretary to E.D. Jarvis & John Rinehart (superintendent). Pauline was secretary to Robert L. Frank, Dick Knapp, & Terry Tiopas during her 28 years at Frank Elementary School (Pine St.) in Perrysburg. Pauline was also a sales associate with Sargent Real Estate for 20 years.Pauline volunteered in the office of Zoar Lutheran Church & attended the women’s discussion group. Pauline was also President of Kingston Residence of Perrysburg Town Hall Residence Organization & was involved in many other Kingston activities.
Pauline enjoyed Saturday morning breakfast with neighbors & friends, Tuesday morning prayer group, attended the dinner dance group headed by Jim Gagnon & John Hadeed & the Friday night dinner group. Pauline also golfed on the Sweet Shots ladies golf league at Tanglewood Golf Course.
She is the widow of Paul F. Kopp who preceded her in death in 1992. She is survived by Pamela S. (Jon) Boyer, Grand Rapids, OH, Craig P. (Rhonda) Kopp, Cincinnati, OH & Cheryl L. (Daniel) Bernhardt, Oak Harbor, OH, Nancy (mother of Amanda & Paul) & Gary Vick Wyoming, OH grandchildren, Heather R. Boyer, Amanda (Kevin) Sheehan, Paul D. Kopp; and great-grandchildren, Zoe & Colin Sheehan.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 21 & Sunday, May 22 from 4-8 p.m. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E South Boundary, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Funeral services will be held at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E Indiana Avenue in Perrysburg on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Anita (Ann) L. Marshall presiding. Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Zoar Lutheran Church or the Wood County Humane Society.
