Robert Nelson Pratt

Robert Nelson Pratt, 78, of Perrysburg, Ohio died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Kingston of Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 9, 1935 to Dewey David and Gladys Pratt. On May 27, 1960 Robert married the love of his life, Janet Loughman and together they raised their two sons.

Robert faithfully served his country in the United States Navy. After 20 years of active duty he retired as a Chief Yeoman and transferred to the Fleet Naval Reserve. Robert was a devoted member of Unity United Methodist Church in Northwood. He enjoyed playing on their dart ball league. In his spare time he could be found playing horseshoes and spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet Pratt; sons, Ed (Pat) and Marc (Toni) Pratt; sister, Donna Whittaker; brother, David Dewey (Bea) and Jerry (Mary Jane) Pratt; 3 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, 11 siblings.

Friends may visit Witzler Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133) on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with funeral services beginning Friday at noon.
