BUCKTON, Albert Charles ‘Ab’ (Retired from CGE). – Passed away at Fairhaven on July 23, 2012 in his 81st year. Beloved son of the late Sam and Hazel Buckton (nee Welch). Cherished husband of Claire Buckton (nee McGary). Loving father of Colleen (Bruce), Barb (Craig), and Bob (Kendra) and the late John. Beloved grandfather of Trevor, Kevin, Nicole, Mark, Jeff, Logan, Katelyn and Emma. Will be sadly missed by sisters Irene McCauley and Joan Grady. Ab was an avid golfer and longtime member of Kawartha Golf and Country Club. Visitation will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 6:00p.m. – 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. ANNE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 859 Barnardo St. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. If so desired, donations in memory of Ab may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
