Alphaeus Young

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Springdale Country Manor at the age of 72. Alphaeus was the loving husband of the late Libby Young for over 30 years.

Loving son of the late Norman and Laura Young. Proud father of Douglas (Tara) Young, Crystal (Chuck) Young-Thoburn, and the late Michael Young. Devoted grandpa of Michael, Jacey, Jordan, Matthew, bailey, and Makayla. Great-Grandpa of Isaac and Rayna. Brother of Harold (Pat), Nicolas (Tina) Howard, Joseph (Cathy), Sylvia (the late Wilf), Marilyn (Glen), Beatrice (Lawrence) and predeceased by Leo (Robina) and Lew (the late Brenda). Al will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Al was an avid fisher and hunter and his favourite place to be was the Trentonia Camp in Hastings and surrounded by family and friends.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In memory of Al, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated. Condolences to the family may be made online at www.CommunityAlternative.ca.
