Ann Goldie, born May 15, 1968 in Peterborough, Ontario passed suddenly September 30, 2025 at the age of 57 at her home in Peterborough. Survived by her sister Helen La Belle brother in law Troy and her three nephews Alex, Ben, and Jack.
Ann was always wanting to make people feel good and loved, taking people coffee, sending inspirational notes, always texting nephews before any special event in their lives and telling them how much she loved them. Small gestures of love and friendship encapsulated who Ann was.
She had a passion for horseback riding she loved horses. Working out where she connected with many people who became her fast friends. Ann loved sports. Football, baseball, golf, and of course hockey decked out in team jerseys while she cheered on her favorite teams with her cat Maverick watching right along side.
After graduating from Queen’s University Ann worked as a customer service manager for Air Canada she had been a ticket agent as well as a flight attendant she always said the industry was her home. She lived out west in B.C. and Victoria returning to Ontario about 10 years ago to be closer to family. Once she returned home she worked in the hospitality industry before working at PRHC always making connections to people which was her real gift.
Ann was devastated by the loss of her boyfriend followed quickly by the loss of both of her parents, this left her heartbroken. We will try to take comfort knowing that she is at peace now, surrounded by the love of family that went before her. Life will not be the same without you, Ann. We will keep a piece of you with us forever. We love you.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of donations, please spend time with your family and friends, reach out to those you miss, or who may be missing you, and take time to care for yourself.
