Annie "Jean" Eaton

EATON: Annie Jean – It is with great sadness that the family of Annie “Jean” Eaton announce her passing on March 5, 2013 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. (Longtime member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church) Jean, in her 96th year was the beloved wife of the late Eric (Tim) Eaton. She was the loving mother of Sharon (Eugene) McKeiver, Elizabeth (Tom Pammett) and Brian Eaton, and proud Grandma of Jason (Tracey), Jeremy and Stephanie (Shawn) Pammett, and Sarah (Peter) High. She adored her great granddaughter Meagan Pammett, and was looking forward to a second great grandchild in June. Survived and loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her sisters Bertha Miller and Sarah Hunter; brothers John, Bruce and Gordon Adam. Mom lived a full and vibrant life. She was passionate about her garden and art and left a legacy of beautiful works behind for us to remember her by. She lived life guided by faith in God and taught us the value of kindness and compassion by which she so graciously lived herself. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Water and Murray Streets. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Reverend Tom Cunningham officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB or Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
