ILLINGWORTH, Annie (née Booth) ~ Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, August 19, 2023 in her 101st year. Reunited with the love of her life, the late Kenneth Illingworth (2008). Loving mother of Susanne Motley (Rick) and the late Shirley Anne Illingworth. Proud nana of Kurtis Motley. Dear sister of Frank Booth (Hilda).
Annie spent her adult working life in retail shoe sales and loved interacting with people. She helped others and always had a smile and a hello for everyone she met. She was active throughout her life with dancing, alley bowling, lawn bowling and was always on the go walking which definitely contributed to her amazing 100 years, that and her love of chocolate. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by every one whose lives she touched for her sweet, kind and generous nature.
In keeping with Annie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Funeral Service will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre on Sunday, September 3rd at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
