Audrey Irene Tucker Shedden

It is with great sadness the Shedden family announces the passing of Irene Shedden on Thursday January 23, 2025 at Fairhaven in Peterborough in her 94th year.

Irene was born April 1, 1931 in Apsley, ON, and was predeceased by parents, Harold and Hazel Tucker of Apsley, her husband Andrew C. Shedden of Lakefield, and her daughter Valerie Christensen of Peterborough.

Irene will always be remembered by her four surviving children Mary Lynn Devlin of Lakefield, Andrew Shedden of Peterborough, Bill Shedden of Woodview, and Jennifer Shedden of Peterborough. Also fondly remembered by: four grandchildren: Andrew, Sarah, Rebecca, and Stuart as well as five great grandchildren.

Irene lived a full and adventurous life and lived in Toronto, Saint John, Winnipeg, Minneapolis, and Kansas City, before settling in Lakefield in 1970 where she helped building business at the Pine Grove Cheese Factory while also raising her five children.
