April 7, 1926 – December 28, 2020

Mason, Barbara Helen – At Extendicare Lakefield on December 28, 2020 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Ethridge Mason. Dear mother of Sylvia Latchford (Herbert), David (Karen) and Wayne (Louise). Grandmother of Stephen (Joelle), Roseann, Jeff, and Lucas (Lana). Great Grandmother of Peter, Breanna and Lily and great great grandmother of Savanna and Jason. Sister of the late Gerry Stephenson (Mary). Due to the Pandemic an invitation only service will be held to celebrate Barbara’s life. This service may be viewed through Livestream on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 12:00 noon. Please join through the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre website, scroll to Barbara’s service information and press the Join Livestream button. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. So sorry for the family's loss! She will be fondly remembered by myself and staff at Arbys!! She was so stubborn, and would force herself to come to Arbys and get in that door!! I also remember her from sooo many years ago when she would come into Arbys with her husband. RIP Barbara, you are missed!

Barbara Mason was my Sunday School teacher when I was about 12 years old, and she led me to the Lord. We've had contact over these many years quite a few times, and it was my pleasure to call her my friend. I don't really know all of her family, but I do know Sylvia, and I am sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed here, but thankfully, this life is not all there is, so I look forward to seeing her again!

I'll be praying for you all as you grieve her loss, and I plan to join the livestream on Jan. 2. So glad it is available.
