Bernice Isabelle Hodgson Fudge

Surrounded by family at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Stanley (d. 2000) and partner of the late Ralph Prentice (d. 2019). Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Beatrice Hodgson. Loving mother of Mike (Karen), the late David (d. 1990) and Cathy (Jordie). Cherished “Nana” of Jeff, Jessica Meldrum (Mike), and Evan (Mackenzie), and Great-Nana of Kru. Greatly missed by her many siblings Joan Herrington (late George), Claire Waddell (the late Terry), Gerald (Doris), Marilyn McDonald (Jack), Helen Tellier (Donald), Marie Fornaro (Vince), John Hodgson (Sharon Tilley), Jim (Betty) and the late William (d. 2020) (surviving partner Brian Hardy), and many nieces and nephews and extended family. Bernice will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her as kind, compassionate, and a hard worker. Visitation will be held at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Sunday, March 6th from 1 – 2 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Donations to the Salvation Army Peterborough or Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
