I MADE IT HOME

I just wanted to let you all know that I made it home. The Journey wasn’t an easy one, but it didn’t take too long.

Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and new. I wish that you all could close your eyes and that you could see it too.

Please try not to be sad for me. Try to understand God is taking care of me… I’m in the shelter of His hands.

Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, and no pain. Here there is no crying and I’ll never hurt again.

Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing. I really have to go for now…I’ve just got to try my wings.

I want to say that Bonnie was an inspiration to anyone who had the chance to be around her. She worked hard to be the success she was and put her love and generosity into her two sons without a complaint . We had a lot of laughs together whenever she would be posted to work with me in Port Perry. When she smiled we all smiled . I know she will be watching from above and still smiling .
So sad to hear she has left us but not in our memories . Pat Cole

Please accept my sincere condolences with the loss of Bonny.
Here at work, we are a family and we will forever miss her vibrant spirit, yummy zucchini loaf, and knowledgeable help! She was always the first to round us all up to take a break at lunch. Her generosity really showed whenever someone was expecting a baby in the department, Bonny would be crocheting a blanket at the hockey rink. I will cherish the ones she made for my girls!
I pray that she is content, free of pain and enjoying the view from up above.
Happy travels Bonny, until we meet again!

Bonny and I worked together at Transcon, and after that we managed to stay in touch through meeting from time to time at the hockey rink. When I was at my sickest, and not able to attend games, she would take the time to talk to my husband, Tim, and ask about me and send news of her family and extended family. When I was healthy enough to be back out at the rink she and I were able to sit together and enjoy a long conversation while the boys played hockey. Neither Tim nor I knew she was sick and are both heartbroken to hear of her passing. I wish I had been able to have one last conversation with her, and let her know how highly I thought of her. If you were to look up "salt of the earth" in the dictionary, you'd find Bonny's picture. All my love to Dorothy, Jennifer, Stephanie, and the whole family. What an incredible loss.

Dorothy and family,

Mom, Tania and I are at a loss of words to express how sad we are with the news of Bonny’s passing. When I think of Bonny I am flooded with fond memories of camping together with our “extended family”, (playing cards in the yellow bus, swimming, and lots of laughter around camp fires). Bonny was a wonderful person whose genuine warmth and sincerity shone in her eyes when she spoke to you. Please accept our heartfelt condolences to both you and your family. We are thinking about you all.

Sincerely,
Tawsha

Bonny you were kind and caring. Your laugh was always awesome to hear, at any gathering we were at together. Our nieces always spoke so fondly of you. You will be greatly missed, but will be forever in the hearts of so many. I remember on Stephanie's and Brad's wedding day, you were the one that had the ability to keep everyone calm, and you made us feel welcome and part of the family. I agree with Shayla Heaven definitely gained another angel.
