Aka Half-Pint, Billy-Boy
It is with broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Brian William Maybury, on Monday, April 21st, 2025, in his 76th year. Brian passed peacefully with his four girls and son-in-law to help him transition into his next journey. Moments after his passing the sun poked through the clouds and a rainbow appeared, assuring us that he was safely with the loved ones who had passed before him. Brian is survived by his wife and best friend Susan (nee Markoff) for over 55 years. Cherished and devoted father to his girls Shelley (Winston Taylor Jr.) and Pamela (Tim Crough). Forever proud gramps to his grandchildren Emily and Sam (Ruby). Pre-deceased by his parents William and Edna Maybury, his brother Barry (Suzanne). Brian is survived by sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, as well as many friends and previous customers.
Brian was co-owner of Emerald Isle Marina Limited, and worked there for over 50 years. He was a master mechanic who excelled in outboard repairs, specializing in Johnson and Evinrude motors. He was a true and honest businessman.
The family would like to give thanks to the amazing Drs., and Nurses on the floors of B6 and D2. Special thanks to Dr. Morelli for her honesty and care.
Brian was an avid fisherman and hunter. Brian and his wife Susan were the organizers of one of Ontario’s oldest and prestigious bass fishing tournaments for 39 years. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Ontario Federation Of Anglers And Hunters.
