wife of the late Jim Sargent. Predeceased by her parents Adrian and Irma Smith, Woodville and Wesley and Marguerite (Greta) Sargent, Peterborough. Dear sister of Joyce Fee, Peterborough and Hugh and Nancy Smith, Oshawa. Loved aunt of Gordon (deceased), Dan, Bryan, Norman, Laurie Fee and Corey Broster, and Peggy, Zach, Derick and Jennifer Smith. Glamorous and strong minded: Carol enjoyed family, sport fishing, crocheting, reading, bridge, gardening and preserving (the best plum jam ever!), and horses. Many stray dogs and cats found a home with her over the years. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at Greenwood Church, 737 Donwood Dr, Peterborough, (formerly Donwood United Church) on Sunday, May 15 at 1:30 pm.
