Charles Allan Christy

At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the age of 84. Predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years, Cynthia Dianne Christy, his parents, Allan and Mina Christy, and his brother, Bruce Christy.

With great sorrow and sadness, we said goodbye to our beloved dad, grandfather, and dear friend to many. He lived his life to the fullest, loving his family deeply, working in his shop, and watching and enjoying the birds. Starting out at General Motors, he spent several years in Oshawa making lifelong friends, then moved to the Bancroft area, working in construction and again making many cherished memories and lasting friends. He then settled in Ennismore as his last residence and home. Charlie attended the Causeway Christian Assembly faithfully and loved his Lord and Saviour.

Loving dad to Shelley Loescher (Mark), Kathy Wiles (Tom), and Jeff Christy (Heather). Cherished Grandpa to Olivia, Allie, Nick, Mike, Sarah, Mitch, Victoria, Brian, and Elizabeth. Loving great-grandfather to Sofie, Cedar, and Maxwell. Friends will be received at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, on Thursday, January 15th, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16th, at 11:00 am from the Causeway Christian Assembly, 1307 Yankee Line, Ennismore. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery.
