When a Mother passes away, an irreplaceable bond is severed and a child realizes that when they are passing out Mothers and Fathers, they only give you one of each and there are no back-ups. Children have to profit from their parents and June and Cheekie and Barbara and Carmella and Robert and I know I have forgotten someone, have benefitted from the love and care and compassion of Daisy for many, many years. You are luckier than most children.

Please do not think that Daisy is gone for as long as she remains in your hearts and your minds, she is always with you. Time is on your side since time will ease the sorrow but time will never erase the good memories.

Daisy now walks with God.

Auntie Daisy as Justin and Melissa called her .
The mother of the children I shared my youth with .
My friend, my neighbour after I married . Only good memories from Auntie Daisy ..her stories of her beautiful trips back home with her sister Mickey the ballroom dancing on the ship while travelling back to Scotland !
My husband still speaks of her "back in the day " rushing to 7 o'clock mass every morning with her camel coat blowing in the wind .
Rest in peace dear Daisy we will always remember you with a smile on our lips and love in our hearts .
