My sincere condolences to Dale’s family and friends. Dale made a big impact on my life on so many levels and will always hold a special place in my heart. At Hospice, I shared how grateful I was to him , for being there for me through the difficult times, but more importantly for the good times we shared. He replied “At least I did something good”. My friend you did so much good, and I will cherish the memories! I will never be able to watch Seinfeld or Ace Ventura without remembering your impressions. LOL. xo

You have lived quite the life, most of it a fighter! Most people would have given in to so many circumstances but not you!!
I have many memories of the cool uncle with the motorcycle and leather jacket.... the long hair both you and Jeff had.... but most of all I remember the most amazing Christmas presents when we were young...... always a beer box full of candy .... lol! I’m sure my parents hated it, but we loved it! I’m glad we were able to come spend time with you in the last few weeks, a couple laughs and some great smiles near the end! Now your free of all the pain.... love ya !

Dear Dale What a wonderful son you were. So loving and caring. Can't forget a classic statement he made to me: Mom, you don't have to come to the Hospital so much for me, it's too hard for you at "your advanced age". I laughed so hard at his attempt to say this without calling me old. This was said when he was in Palliative Care. So typical of him. Just a very recent statement. I have so many wonderful memories and fun times with him and his brother Jeff. Love you, Mom .

Dear Daddy-o,
Words cannot describe the immense emptiness that I feel now that you're gone. Only a few months ago you were at home working away, then we were blindsided by the inevitable. You have fought longer than anybody ever could. I am honored to have cared for you, & I will be a different woman because of it.
I am proud to be your daughter, I love you so much.
