She was predeceased by her beloved son, Mark. Delores is lovingly remembered by her sons Greg (Wendy) and Kevin (Lara). She was a cherished grandmother to Tyler, Raina, Kyle, and Clayton, and a proud great-grandmother.
Delores was born in Kitchener, Ontario and later moved to Peterborough where she raised her family, and was a devoted member of Christ Lutheran Church in Peterborough. She had a passion for teaching and spent many years instructing students in hairdressing before later working as a teacher’s aide with the local school board until her retirement.
Delores' loved ones are grateful for the care and kindness she received at Springdale Country Manor.
A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 463 Highland Road, on Friday March 27 from 11am-12pm. A reception with refreshments to follow at the church. Family and friends are invited to Rosemount Memorial Gardens following the luncheon interment.
At Delores's request, donations to the Schizophrenia Society of Canada, would be appreciated.
