McCall, Donald Albert - Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in his 75th year. Don was the beloved son of the late Harold and Margarita McCall. Dear father of Chris McCall and Kerri (Rick) O’Brien. Loving grandfather of Riley, Ashley, Alicia and Reed O’Brien. Beloved brother of Evelyn (late Reg) Hewitt. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers in Palliative Care for their care and support during Don’s lengthy stay there. Special thanks to Dr. Beamish, his staff and Nurse Evelyn for their home visits, Don and Bill from Hospice and the Canadian Cancer Society volunteer drivers as well as Rev. Robert Taitinger for his kind words of comfort. A private service was held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Interment Emily Cemetery, Omemee.
