Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday March 13, 2015, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Shedden). Dear father of Keith Robinson, Anne Robinson (Tim Lappala), Bruce Robinson (Jenny Pefianco). Loving grandfather of Kia, Juliet, Sarah, Cordelia, Stephanie, and Holly. Brother of Doreen (Ray) Jolliffe, Mary (late Mike) McDaid and the late Shirley(late Harold) Johnston. Don was a retired teacher from Sir Sandford Fleming College after 25 years of teaching. His side interest and hobbies included his sign painting, gardening, volunteer fire fighting, and he was a devoted church member. Don was a valiant crusader until the end. Funeral service will be held at LAKEFIELD BAPTIST CHURCH (36 Regent Street, Lakefield) on Monday March 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service.
