Donna Marie Brotherstone Harrison

It is with great sadness that we share with you the peaceful passing of Donna Marie Harrison (nee Brotherstone) on October 8, 2024 at the age of 87. Donna was born on November 1, 1936 in Peterborough, Ontario.

Cherished Mom to Debra (and Ron), Douglas, and Brian Harrison (and Shanna). Loving Granny to Camina, Amber, and Shayne. Friend to many at her home, Fairhaven Long-Term Care. Donna was pre-deceased by her parents and siblings. She was the cherished daughter of Doris (nee Palmer) and Andrew Brotherstone, and loving sister to Dorothy Ann, Gordon, and Arlie.

Donna was a teacher, following in the footsteps of her mother and sister. At age 25, she became a full-time mother and was devoted to her family above all else. Donna was known for her perseverance and laughter and will be missed by many.

The family extends a special thank you to all the Fairhaven staff for their many years of caring for Donna. Donations in her honour to the Fairhaven Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.

A private reception will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
