Dorothy Keys

With quiet strength and courage surrounded by the love of her family, Dorothy a dear mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away on February 1, 2011. In the midst of tears and sorrow the family of Dorothy rejoices that she is now reunited with her beloved husband Donald (2001). She loved her family and her cat Winnie dearly. Her life will be cherished in the hearts and memories of her daughter Donna (Doug Head), granddaughter Racquel (Tim Switzer), son George, grandson Mark and great granddaughter Brynnah (Melissa Reid). Dorothy’s life was truly a gift to all who knew her, she will be forever remembered by her family, nieces, nephews and friends, especially her best friend and confidant of 66 years, Reta Barker. In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes a private family service has taken place with Interment in the Spring. Dorothy’s family expresses their sincere appreciation to Fairhaven Westview 5 staff for their kindness and care, and would appreciate donations in Dorothy’s memory be made to the Fairhaven Resident Programs. Loved with a love beyond telling, missed with grief beyond all tears. To the world, she was just one. To us, she was all the world!
