Suddenly on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 48 years of age. Much loved Son of Bill and Faye Gordon and son-in-law of Marilyn and late Ernie Bisson. Beloved Husband to Nancy for 18 years. Devoted and loved Dad of Chris and Madison. Cherished Brother-in-law to Paul and Brenda, Sherry-Lynn and Rodney, Wendy and Peter and Dan and Jennifer. Predeceased by his brother Orval. Longtime friend of Rob Price and Dan Peel. Doug will be sadly missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Doug enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid snowmobiler and boater and liked anything with a motor. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family at the cottage in Bancroft. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. A Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Comstock Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Bancroft. Memorial donations may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation of Toronto and Central Ontario or Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation.
