Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, June 23, 2023 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Hilda Irene (née Drummond) for 58 years. Dear father of Doug Jr. (Lisa) and Chris (Christine). Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Brother of George (Donna), predeceased by his siblings Marie Lewis (Randy), Robert and James. Doug will be remembered by many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough. A Funeral Service will be held the next day in our chapel on Thursday, July 6th at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
