Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Doug was the beloved husband of Dianne Harris (née Moore) for over 42 years. Loving father of Colleen Weber (Brian). Proud grandfather of Courtney Weber Grey (Josh) and Brett Weber (Carly). Treasured great-grandfather of Lachlen Grey, Paige Grey, Logan Weber and Nolan Weber. Survived by his sister Beth Walker (Rob) and brother Ted Harris. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Daisy Harris (née Fletcher), sisters Marian Lebel, Carol London and brother Norman Harris. Doug will also be missed by many extended family and friends. Doug enjoyed the little things in life, he treated everyone equally and was a good person. He was so proud of his daughter Colleen and what him and Dianne accomplished together in life. Doug was an avid reader who also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing cards and watching tv. He’s now gone to join his faithful furry companions: Bear, Patch and Ritter. As per Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
