Suddenly at PRHC on January 4, 2015 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Frances Clarke. Dear father of Steve (Jan) of Peterborough and Jason (Sarah Melhuish) of Toronto. Loving grandpa of Sarah, Amy, Lizzy, Jack, Cammi and Kenzie. Survived by brothers Robert of Oakville, Daryl and David both of Mississauga, sisters Rose Ann and Betty Lou of N.B. and Donna of Kingston. Brother-in-law of George and Donna Gilpin and Robert Clarke and Ferne Cristall all of Peterborough. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Margaret Daye, sister Peggy and brother Ernie. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at ST. JAMES UNITED CHURCH, 221 Romaine Street with visitation at the church beforehand from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Interment Little Lake Cemetery.
