After a life of adventure, Ed passed away at Springdale Country Manor, on February 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Son of the late Edward and the late Dorelle Tape. Dear brother of Brenda Malowney (Dick). Proud uncle of Dr. Jennifer Malowney (Chris Anderson) and Braden Malowney; and great uncle of Benjamin Fraser. Lovingly remembered by many friends.
A busy person by nature, Ed was involved in many clubs, sports and had many hobbies. Ed was a member of the Peterborough Horseshoe Club, Knox United Church, the Scouts, the Peterborough Power Boat Squadron, the Masonic Lodge, Softball, the Kinsmen Club, Old-Timers’ Hockey, and Toastmasters to name some of involvements. He deeply enjoyed exploring and was often travelling and scuba diving.
Services for Ed will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, with visitation from 11 am to 12 pm and a Memorial Service at 12 pm.
