Peacefully after a brief illness, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, October 27, 2014, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Reginald Hill (January 19, 1999) for over 50 years. Loving Mom of James (Vedra), Stephen (Jeanette), David and Jane (Doug). Dear Grandma of Ryan, Katie, Spencer and Casey. She will be missed by her nephews and their families. Eleanor was predeceased by her siblings Phyllis Floyd and Ted Wilson. Eleanor had retired from Sears after 20 years of service in 1987. Visitation will take place from 2-4 pm on Thursday at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 31, 2014 at ALL SAINTS’ ANGLICAN CHURCH, 235 Rubidge Street. Interment will take place at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
