It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Lillian" Anne Minicola (nee Bausch) in her 100th year in Ottawa. Lil was born in Campbellford to Elizabeth and Richard, the youngest of eight children and the only daughter. She lived most of her life in Peterborough with her husband of 58 years, Paul. Together they shared a full life raising a family, running Minicola's furniture store for many years, and travelling extensively.
Lil is predeceased by her husband, her son Larry, and daughter, Pauline Reynolds. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Belfry (Peter) and Nina Webster (John Paul, deceased). Lil will be lovingly remembered by fourteen grandchildren, her great grandchildren and, great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 2nd at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. at Saint Alphonsus Church, 1066 Western Avenue in Peterborough followed by interment with reception to follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
