Elva Griffin

Peacefully at PRHC on December 18, 2010 in her 80th year. Wife of the late Lionel Griffin. Sadly missed by her daughter Debra Sullivan (Barry) of B.C.their children Melany Fulgham (Joe) and Alex Hamill (Jinger); Bruce of Peterborough and his children Jason and the late Randy (2005); Susan Bowen of Woodville and her children Katie and Mathew; and Paul of N.S. and his children Sarah and Stephanie. Elva was a great-grandmother to Jennifer, Max and David. She was predeceased by her parents Herman and Lillian (nee Elliott) Lethangue, as well as her sister Eileen and brother Verdun. Elva spent forty years as a dedicated nurse. She was an active member of Tops. A very creative person Elva was an Accomplished painter. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm (visitation starting at 1:00 pm) on Tuesday December 21, 2010 at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough.
