Gillespie, Elwood John (Retired Co-Owner of Huffman Construction) – At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on September 12, 2016. Predeceased by his wife Elsie Hill. Dear father of Gloria Jane Gillespie (Mikki Nasch). Brother of the late Lula Wilson, Roy Gillespie, Grant Gillespie, Howard Gillespie, Bob Gillespie and Elva MacNaughton. Survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy, Doreen, Linda and Pauline Gillespie and brother-in-law Sandy McNaughton. Uncle of Cathy & Larry MacNaughton, Matt & Nancy Shaw and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at the COMSTOCK-KAYE Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. If so desired, in memory of Elwood, donations to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
