Gary Joseph Monteith

January 19, 1954 ~ November 19, 2023

It’s with Great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved dad Gary Monteith. Gary passed away suddenly, yet peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, November 19, 2023.

Gary was a loving husband to the late Sylvia (March 13, 2022) for over 45 years. Proud father of Geoff (Codi Roode) and the late Tanya (Craig McGregor). Cherished Grandpa of Damion, Kassidy, Lily and Sophie Monteith. Son of the late Leona and Joseph Monteith. Brother of Raymond Monteith and the late Wanda Patton. Brother-in-law of Luke, Tim (Lynnette), Marijke and Ingrid Groenendyk. Gary will be missed dearly by many special cousins, friends and neighbours.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, Gary’s family would appreciate donations to the PRHC Dialysis Unit.
