At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, February 07, 2006, following a prolonged illness. A graduate of Pictou Academy, Acadia University and Dalhousie Medical School (class of 1951). Lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara (Miller). Dear father of Michael V. (Diane) of Mississauga, Ann Downey (James) of Toronto, and Joan Cole (Wayne) of Brooklin. Dear grandfather of Victoria and Alexander MacKay, and Miller Downey. Dear brother of Doris Young of Pictou, N.S. and Tom MacKay of Halifax. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at All Saints Anglican Church, 235 Rubidge Street (at Sherbrooke St.), from 1 p.m. on Friday, February 10, for a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Canon Michael Wright officiating.
