27 years ago I was blessed to walk into Mary’s classroom as her T.A. That was one of the most important days of my life, cause in meeting Mary it opened up a whole new welcoming family to us and the most special person in that family was Nana. She blessed our family with her love, her kindness, her wisdom, her strength and her sense of humour. Every encounter with Nana brought us love and happiness, no matter what was going on in her life or ours, Nana always made us feel that everything would be ok. She never forgot a birthday for any of us and never let any occasion go unacknowledged, there is no way to adequately describe the joy she brought to our lives.
To Mary, Karl, Lee, Glenn, Katie, Mitch, Ben , Emma, Robert, Jenny, Ethan, Evi , Ken and Sarah, I don’t know that there is anyone on earth who was as proud of her family as Nana was of all of you, the love she had for all of you was always so very beautifully plain to see. We send you all our love and know that you are all in our hearts.
We will forever hear her saying, “Love you dear”. Nana we will love you forever and forever in our hearts you will be.

May the roads rise to meet you,
May the winds always be at your back,
May the suns shine warm upon your face
And rains soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

With all our love, Michelle, Mike, Sarah and Zach.
