Helen Mae Long Godfrey

Our very special Mum passed away peacefully, at PRHC, on Friday, October 9, 2015 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Godfrey (March 2, 2010). Loving mother of Brenda (Roger) Messervey, David (Judy), Paul, Stephen, Michelle, Michael (Cheryl), Sherri (Rick) Runnalls and Joel (Shelley). Dear Grandma (G.G.) of Tyson, Sarah, Nathan, Carey, Christina, Ryan, Meghan, Eli, Gabe, Kelsey, Brandon, Keenan, Heleyna and Jacob. Cherished Great-Grandma of Paige, Zachary, Bradyn, Riley, Tristen, Keenan, Eion, Sean, Ezmay, Kaiya & Lily Isabella. Predeceased by her loving sister and best friend Elizabeth “Betty” Dewar; survived by her brother-in-law Alex McLean. Helen was a much loved aunt of her many nieces, nephews and their families. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2015 and 10 am until the time of a memorial service at 11 am on Friday, October 16, 2015 at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
