Helen Gertrude Edmison Hunter

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Monday April 4, 2016, in her 94th year, after a long battle with Alzheimers disease she is free at last! Helen was predeceased by her devoted husband James and sisters Laura Bush and Margaret Brown. Helen was the loving mother of Catherine Faiers and her husband Darryl, Norman Hunter and his wife Laura. Proud grandmother to Ben Hunter(Natasha), Hannah Hunter, James Faiers(Laurel), and Christina Faiers and great grandmother of Zachary and Avery. Helen’s family will gather to remember the beautiful, generous woman we were privileged to know.

A private inurnment will take place at Centreville Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the KAYE FUNERAL HOME ‘MEMORIAL CHAPEL’, 539 George Street North, Donations to the Alzheimers Society or YWCA Crossroads would be appreciated.
