Peacefully after a lengthy illness on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Karl for 54 years. Loving Mother of Harry (Alice), Lily Gallagher and Rebecca (Neil). Cherished Oma of Kevin (Michelle) and Karen. Great-Oma of Nathaniel and Kiara. Dear sister of Rolf (Ethel), Berhartd (Ina) and sister–in-law of Agnes. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews; Allan, Linda, Cindy, Harold and their families. Hilda was predeceased by her parents Gerhardt and Lydia; her brother Arthur and young sister Adelaide. She was a lover of the outdoors and all of the wonders of nature. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm followed by a memorial service at 1:30 pm on Monday, May 13, 2013 at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
