Howard Howie Gaff John Harrison

Formerly of Ottawa at PRHC Palliative Care on June 30, 2016 at the age of 81.

Beloved husband of the late Clara Harrison, younger brother to Wallace Harrison and wife Mildred, sisters Elda, Jean and Betty. Sadly missed by his many special nephews, nieces and friends.

Retired from the Royal Canadian Navy, Howie and Clare enjoyed their many military postings across Canada, USA and Bermuda. Many special friendships were forged on their journeys that remained throughout their lives.

To the many medical doctors & support staff that have helped & supported him along these last few months, a heartfelt thanks goes out to all with special mention to Dr. Doug Turner & his staff as well as Dr. Mallory and the dedicated Palliative care team at PRHC for their professional & comforting care.

Respecting Howie's wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has already taken place, but a Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 25th from 1-4 pm at Comstock Funeral Home, 356 Rubidge Street Peterborough, Ontario.

If desired in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the PRHC Palliative Care Units or charity of your choice.
