Jack Jacobs

JACOBS, Jack - Passed away peacefully with family at his side on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the age of 88. Dearly loved husband of Rene´e, father of Nicholas (Ketsana) and Simon (Kim), and grandfather of Michele, Benjamin (Katie), and Elizabeth. Born in London, Jack immigrated to Canada in 1967. He settled in Peterborough where he first worked as a tool and die maker at Outboard Marine. He retired in 1992. It was Jack's wish that no service be held. Instead, friends are invited to the family home at 49 Goodfellow Road, Peterborough, from 2-4 pm on Sunday February 21st. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, either directly or through www.CommunityAlternative.ca. The family wish to thank the compassionate and caring staff at the Palliative Care Unit of Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
