Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on August 16, 2016 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit in his 72nd year. Loving son of the late Edmund and Cecelia Allen. Beloved husband of Sharon for 40 years. Cherished dad of Tara, Shamus, Shannon and Jamie. Proud grandpa of Tony, Cecilia, Keilan, Brayden, Jace and Nadia. Dear brother of Mary Livingston (Dave) and Tom Allen. A heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care Staff for their care of Jim. Also, many thanks to the Royal Canadian Airforce and the Snowbirds for their support and understanding of family values in these hard times. A Memorial Mass will be held at ST.
