(4 SEPTEMBER 1920 – 10 JULY 2021)
Ed was born in Montreal, Quebec to the late James and Kate Campbell. He served in the RCAF during WWII and upon his release from the Air Force, Ed enjoyed a distinguished career in the insurance business, which took him from Montreal to Toronto. Ed was a loving husband, married 73 years to the late Doris May Campbell (née Walker), and a devoted father to his four surviving sons, James Malcom, Ian Bruce, Colin Graham and Martin Neil. He will be sadly missed by his seven grandchildren, Cliff, Dave, Donald, Sean, Megan, Michelle, Katryna, and his 11 great-grandchildren. His family wishes to thank Royal Gardens Retirement Residence staff for their kindness. A private family service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at the COMSTOCK-KAYE Life Celebration Centre. While this is an invitation only event, friends and family are welcome to view the service by livestream. Please scroll down to the 'Join Livestream' button below at 12:25 p.m. on Saturday. In memory of Ed and in lieu of flowers, donations to The Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command Poppy Trust Fund would be greatly appreciated by his family.
