(August 15, 1942 – April 22, 2021)
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of James at the age of 78 years. Loving husband for 56 years of Irene Hazel McCauley (nee: Buckton). Beloved father of Jim (Eleanor), Karen (Bart), Terry (Debbie), Steve, Dan (Trish) and Debbie (Dale). Proud Grandfather of many grandchildren and especially Sean McCauley. Dear Uncle of Scott (Nicole), Chris and many other nieces and nephews. Will be fondly remembered by sister-in-law Joan (Paul). A special thanks to Dave. Jim’s smiling face was always seen at Brookdale Plaza where he proudly worked as a security guard right up to his final days. Jim was very well respected by family, friends and anyone that knew him and highly regarded in the community. He believed that if you gave kindness and respect to others, then you would get it back. A generous man, he was always willing to help any way he could. Jim had a special love of animals, and in return, they loved him too, especially Buster. Jim’s favourite times were spent with his family and he always put their needs ahead of his own. Jim/Dad you will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We all loved you.
