James John Nelson

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James (Jamie) John Nelson, who passed away far too soon on Wednesday September 27, 2023 at the age of 62. He was surrounded by his wife, his children and his siblings, as he took his final breath at PRHC.

Jamie was a loving husband to his wife of 26 years, Kimberley. A devoted father to his three children, Jayme-Lynn (Josh), Vada (Tyler), and Cody. An amazing Papa to his grandsons, Marcus and Charlie. Jamie will be remembered and missed by his surviving siblings, Janice, Gord (Coral), Sherry and Steve (Kathy).

Jamie was always one to crack a joke or give you a sarcastic response but deep down, had a soft heart. His latest favourite thing to do was have a morning Tim Hortons coffee, while watching tv and chatting with his family. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

There will be a private celebration with only close family members present at a later date. If desired, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
