Entered into God’s loving care on Sunday, June 13th 2021 at the age of 94 at Empress Gardens, Peterborough, Ontario. Beloved wife for 46 years of the late Menno Timmer. Loving mother of Erica Kerouac (Glenn), Jennifer Jodoin (Warren). Proud Oma of Nicole Kerouac (Chris), Matthew Kerouac, Jessica Jodoin (Travis), Tyler Jodoin and Carley Jodoin. Predeceased by her parents, Lamberta and Anne Bodzinga in the Netherlands, and also predeceased by siblings in the Netherlands, Barrand Bodzinga, Jan Bodzinga, Bep Hamming, Annie Elzinga and Anne Bodzinga. Survived by her sister Greet van der Burgh, and dear sister-in-law Wilma Bodzinga also in the Netherlands. Will be sadly missed by and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Private graveside service for immediate family only will be held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
A service will be held at Cephas Christian Reformed Church, 220 Goodfellow Road, Peterborough, Ontario on Wednesday at 3:30pm. Due to the pandemic restrictions there is a limit on the number of attendees and guests must register with Erica Kerouac at (905) 373-9888.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff of Empress Gardens for their kindness and exceptional care of our dear mother in her final days.
